my stay was almost comfortable, but the dated bathroom shower was an absolute nightmare, water everywhere, and let's not even talk about the moldy shower curtain. i also noticed the pool closes at 7pm, which is quite rude for late-night swimmers like myself. a complimentary drink would’ve been nice to compensate for such inconveniences. just couldn't give a good review.

The stay at Elpida exceeded my expectations in many ways. The location right on the beach was fantastic. I loved waking up to the sound of waves and having easy access to a clean stretch of sand. The pool area was spacious and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The breakfast offered was made to order, and it was delicious. Each morning, I enjoyed a fresh Greek salad that really hit the spot. Staff members were generally very helpful, especially at the snack bar where food and drinks were affordable and tasty. I did notice some inconsistency in staff attitudes. some seemed quite engaged while others appeared less enthusiastic about their roles. Cleaning service was adequate, but I expected more in the apartment since it was only cleaned twice during my week-long stay. The lack of a hairdryer in the apartment was a minor inconvenience as well. Nevertheless, the spacious and comfy rooms made up for this. These small details didn't overshadow the enjoyment I had at this charming hotel.

The pool closing at 7 PM wasn't ideal, especially if you want a late swim. Mosquitoes were a bother at night without nets on the ground-floor windows. Walking into town took about 20 minutes, which felt longer than expected after a long day.
